Hans Hauser

Hans Hauser, 85, of Strongsville, Ohio passed away Friday August 12, 2022

Hans was born in Frankfurt, Germany on August 21, 1936, to the late Herman and Helene (Salamon) Hauser. When was 22 he came to the United States.  In Germany he did his Machine Builder apprenticeship, attended “Ingenieurschul Institute Phillip Reitz” in Frankfurt, Germany for mechanical engineering, took classes in powder metallurgy, University of Wisconsin.  He has many patents related to transmissions for outdoor power equipment.

Hans first came to this country in 1958 and worked in Franklin, Michigan for Webb Engineering Associates.  Hans was the VP of Engineering at J.B. Foote Foundry in Fredericktown, Oh.

He then worked as a contractor and employee of MTD Products, Valley City for many years.  He started his own company Engineered Solutions in 1990.

Hans was dedicated to his faith. He was attended the Grace Missionary Alliance Church, in Middleburg Hts., where his was actively involved in the Men’s Bible Study group.

He greatly enjoyed sailing and working in his garden.

Hans will be greatly missed by his wife of 41 years, Troy (nee Petrides), children, Kristen Hauser (Ang), Erika (Bryan) Baker, their children, Liam, Paisley, and Silas; Petra Dunlap her children, Ryan, Niki and Heather; Ursela (deceased) her son Morgan; Raymond (Michelle) Hauser, Eric Hauser, and niece Gaby Lindemann. Also 5 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his sister Herma Tobisch.

Private Family Graveside Service was held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Valley City, OH.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday August 20, 2022, at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2233 Abbeyville Road, Valley City.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
