Frances W. (Salaciak) Lapinski

Frances W. Lapinski, 98, of Strongsville, Ohio went to her heavenly home on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Fran was born in Cleveland, Ohio om August 10, 1927 to the late Frank and Antonia (Mentel) Salaciak. She was the sixth child of seven children.  Fran had five older brothers who all served our country, and one sister, the youngest child of the family.

Fran was involved in the restaurant world since 1969. She was the auditor and bookkeeper for Perkins Restaurants prior to owning and operation the Strongsville Perkins Restaurant with her husband Chester (deceased). After several years the family left Perkins, and “Fran’s on the Square” in Strongsville became a favorite of many.

Fran was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to many. For relaxation, she enjoyed bowling, roller skating, and working in her flower garden.  Fran always enjoyed going to the casino and coming home with a win! She was lucky. Fran had such a wonderful, gracious, and loving heart! Those who knew her called her a friend!

She will be greatly missed by her devoted children, Robert (Bonnie) Lapinski, Linda Reid, Michael (Susan) Lapinski and Anne Marie (Greg) Schwartz. Fran is the loving grandmother of Julie (Jim), Dan (Wendy), Kristi and Amy (in heaven), David (Rebecca), Ravi, Matthew (Wendy), Aaron (Rachel) and Brian (Tia); cherished great grandmother of Taylor (Aaron), Sidney, Willow, Piper, Maven, Brenna (Fernando, father of Harlen, great great grandchild), Dylan and Gavin; with an additional great great child on the way.

Following Fran’s request there will be no calling hours.

Family and friends are welcome and invited to attend Fran’s Funeral Mass, 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Columbia Station, Ohio.

Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City, Ohio.

Memorial suggested if desired, Holy Love Ministries, North Ridgeville, Ohio.
