Estelle M. (Kuchar) Smith

Estelle M. Smith, 98, resided in Medina County, Ohio for over 50 years passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

She was born August 17, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Frank and Nettie (Hrabak) Kuchar.

Estelle was a member of the Lifespring Community Church, Valley City.  She was a member of the Red Hat Organization and Angels in Red Hats.

After graduating high school, Estelle worked as a pricing clerk at Alcoa, Cleveland, Ohio for 12 years.  After marriage, she was  the executive secretary in the family business.

She loved celebrating many special occasions with her family. Estelle enjoyed reading, word searches, watching old-time movies and travelling. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Survived by her children, David Smith, Scott (Sandra) Smith and Darlene Smith; grandchildren, Carissa Smith (fiance' Neil), Amanda (John) Fogg and Shannon Smith;  great grandchild, Braik Fogg, and sister, Janice Kuchar.

Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Earnest Smith and brother Franklin Kuchar.

Family and friends may call for 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH, where the funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 8, 2025, with Pastor Chris Dyer, officiating.

Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, Ohio.
