Emily T. (Jocke) Wuensch

Emily T. Wuensch, 85, of Litchfield, Ohio, a faithful servant of God, passed into her heavenly home on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

Emily was born in Berea, Ohio on August 8, 1939 to the late John and Marie (Dobski) Jocke.

Emily is best known for her lifelong love of Jesus, her devotion to Mary, her wisdom and knowledge on a wide variety of topics, her love of family and for her truly genuine and her most welcoming smile.

She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and loving her.

Survived by her devoted children, Ann Cogar, Andy (Heather) Wuensch and Sue (Mike) Reusch; cherished grandchildren, Tonya, Andrea, Jason, Jake, Emily, Matt, Amanda and Megan; special great grandchildren, Audrey, Taylor, Logan, Nick, Lou, Madison, Autumn, Cyrus, Felix and Henry.  Her siblings,

Dorothy Zemanek, Dolores Popiel, Tom Jocke, Andy Jocke and Jim Jocke.

Preceded in death by her husband Jerry Wuensch, brothers, Eddie and Richard Jocke and sister Anna Mae Spanulo.

Visitation will be Monday, April 28, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12-Noon in the Gathering Area of St. Martin of Tours, 1800 Station Road Valley City, Ohio with the Funeral Mass immediately following at Noon.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
