Emily Marie (Straubhaar) Valentine

Emily M. (Straubhaar) Valentine, 77, of Chatham, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025.

She was born on September 10, 1947 to the late William and Eleanor (Pike) Straubhaar, and preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James Roberts; her sister Barbara and brother Charles.

After many years, she retired from The A.I.Root Company of Medina.

Emily was the beloved aunt of Aaron Roberts (Randy Bright) and Brian Roberts, and is survived by her sister Janice (Straubhaar) (Andrew) Gotter, her brother-in-law Richard and (Patricia) Roberts, her sister-in-law Carmie (Formosa) Straubhaar and so many extended family members who will all miss her dearly.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation for 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City with a service at 7:30 p.m. Private family Graveside will be held at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials either to cancer research or your local animal shelter.
