Elizabeth J. "Betty" Henderson

Elizabeth J. "Betty" Henderson, 72, of Brunswick, Ohio passed away Monday, December 3, 2018. Betty was born 1946 in Trafford, PA. She raised her family in Perrysburg. Ohio and has resided in Medina County for the past few years. Betty was a retired banker and currently worked as a Registry Support Specialist with CHAMPS Oncology, Cleveland. She had a passion for cancer patients and wanted to make a difference in their lives. Betty was known for her excellent gift of cooking authentic Polish food. She was a very caring and giving women, who touched many lives on her life's journey. She will be greatly missed by her 3 children and 5 grandchildren, Karen (Mike) Schmidt, John Jr. (Tammy) Henderson, grandchildren, Javan Cousino, John III and Alexander, and Barbara (Brian) Massie, grandchildren, Blake and Isabelle. Sisters- Helen Palchak (William*), Violet Vecchio (Salvatore*), Joseph Tomkovicz* (Jean), Joan Lawrence (David), and Mary Ann Jenkins (Ronald*) (*deceased) Preceded in death by her father Frank Tomkovicz, mother Mary (Larence) Tomkovicz, husband- John Henderson, Sr. and a brother, John in infancy. Celebration of Life Gathering and Service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City with visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org) or the Kidney Foundation of Ohio (kohiuo.org) in her memory.
