Doris J. (Beran) Morlock

Doris J. Morlock, 87, of York Township passed onto her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

Doris was born in Valley City, Ohio on April 15, 1936 to the late Otto, Sr. and Leona (nee Walcher) Beran. She has resided in York Township since 1966. Doris was a caretaker helping seniors and also did house cleaning.  She had worked as a coffee hostess at the Shell Tru- North gas stations in Brunswick and Fairlawn.

Doris enjoyed gardening, painting and was noted for her crocheted clothes hangers.

She is survived by her children, Bruce Morlock and Ann Morlock. Grandchildren, Jamie Morlock and Janell Seller, great grandchildren,

Conrad Morlock and Ethan Seller.  Sister-in-law, Nancy Beran,  brother-in-law- James Rafter and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband Marvin Morlock, son Jimmy Morlock and siblings Warren Beran, Louise Reutter, Ray Beran, Marion Johnson, Otto Beran, Jr. and Wilma Rafter.

Following Doris’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life  Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church 2323 Abbeyville Road Valley City, with burial at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Valley City.
