Doris C. (Rundle) Browand

Doris “Granny” Catherine Browand, 99, of Litchfield, Ohio passed away peacefully surround by her loving family, Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Doris was born March 23, 1926 in Columbia Station, Ohio to the late William and Ella (Mohler) Rundle, moving to Litchfield, Ohio in 1942.
Doris was very family oriented being together was most important to her, especially the picnics with family.

Doris was the last of 15 siblings in her family

She was a fine seamstress, making clothes for the kids out of the “feed sacks” and stuffed animals.  Doris also enjoyed crocheting and could be found working out in her yard and flower garden.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Claudia Davis, and  daughter-in-law, Pam Browand, grandchildren, Clint (Beth) Davis, Brett (Samantha) Davis, Amanda (Jim) Macklin, Tina (Greg) Barnette, Todd (Cassie) Browand and Dennis, Jr. (Melissa) Browand.  14 grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Browand, son, Dennis Browand and daughter, Donna Browand and son-in law, Jack Davis.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a Graveside Service, 12:00 Noon, Monday, October 6, 2025 at Litchfield Cemetery, Litchfield, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made in Doris’s name to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
