Donald Vance Rinehart

Donald Vance Rinehart, 67, of Chippewa Lake, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

He was born October 7, 1957 in Norwalk, Ohio to Richard Jr. and Naioma Rinehart.

Donald is survived by his mother Naioma, children, Donald Jr., Renea (Chris) Hladky and Donna (Eric) Yost; his granddaughter, Hazel. He is also survived by his siblings Richard III and William Rinehart; nephews and nieces; his close friends that he often referred to as “brothers”; and his beloved dog Sam.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Donald was an “on the go” adventurous guy.  In his younger years he played on numerous softball and bowling leagues.  Later in life, he could be found on a frisbee golf course or enjoying the game of golf.  Throughout the course of his life, his favorite was riding his motorcycle.  He loved to watch Cleveland sports, cook out, and took much pride in keeping a nice lawn.  Happy go lucky, always looking for a laugh and a smile.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, May 19, 2025 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City, Ohio.
