Dolores Schumacher, 89, preceded in death by Edward (2021), her husband of 66 years, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
Dolores was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 5, 1933 to the late Paul and Emily (nee Zurr) Dianiska. She and her late husband Edward resided and raised their family in Valley City, Ohio.
Loving mother of Deborah (Frank) Tumbiola, Paul (Faye), Cynthia (Arlene) and Scott (Jennifer). Grandmother of Gregory, Ashlee, Lindsey (Brandon), Brittany (Matt), Courtnay (Kevin -deceased), Melody, Evan, Lauren, Andrew and Nicholas. Great grandmother of Morgan, Gregory, Alyvia, Greyson, Jonathan, Sophia, Grant, Carson, Kevin, Onalee, Hadley, and Hunter.. Great great grandmother of Jaxon.
Sister, Janet Erbacher (John-deceased) and brother- Gerald (Kathy) Dianiska.
Dolores was a retired school bus driver with buckeye Local School System. Dolores and her late husband, Edward, enjoyed playing pinochle, happy hours and traveling. Some of their best times were living in Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
Following Dolores’ wishes, cremation has taken place
A private inurnment to be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
