Dolores F. (Kopnisky) Martin

Dolores “Dee” F. Martin, 84, loving mother and dear friend, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2024 in Medina, Ohio.

She was born on February 27, 1939 in Shoaf, PA, near Uniontown.  Early on Dolores worked at American Greetings Corporation in Cleveland, OH and later as store clerk at Medina Farmer’s Exchange, Medina Landmark, and at Buehler’s Forest Meadows, Medina. Dee loved baking and sharing cookies and rolls for the holidays.

She is survived by her daughter Donna (Charles) Mooney of West Salem and son Joe Martin of Medina. Sister-in-laws, Anne Kopnisky of Campbell, OH and Jane Kopnisky of Uniontown, PA and many nieces and nephews.

Dee was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Nick Martin in 2001, her parents, Joseph and Sophie Kopnisky, brothers and sisters; Joseph (Dorothy) Kopnisky, Agnes (Joseph) Unetich, Elaine (Albert) Gamon, Richard Kopnisky, Francis Kopnisky and Albert Kopnisky,

There will be no calling hours or services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. Burial will be next to her husband Nick in York Township Cemetery.
