Diane (Pietrowski) DeSimone

Diane DeSimone. 73, passed peacefully on September 18, 2025. Diane was a longtime resident of Litchfield Township, where she owned and operated DeSimone’s Country Market with her family.

Diane was born on June 26, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio to Michael and Irene (Mikolajczyk) Pietrowski.  She is survived by her husband of 54 years. Ralph DeSimone; on Brian (Katie) DeSimone; grandchildren, Jenna and Justin DeSimone; sister, Marsha (Donald) Holzer. Sister-in-law Teri Pietrowski and sister-in-aw Nancy Pietrowski.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Pietrowski, Richard Pietrowski, David Pietrowski and her parents.

Diane worked for many years in International Sales at Akzo-Nobel until her retirement.  After retirement from Akzo-Nobel she worked at the DeSimone’s Country Market, which she co-owned with Ralph, Brian, Katie, Jenna and Justin.  She loved being a part of her small community through DeSimone’s Country Market, especially chatting with all off our amazing customers.

Diane loved reading and tidying her house.  She would look for ways to help her family out when she knew they could use a helping hand, for which we will forever be grateful! Diane loved watching her grandchildren grow up, and took so much pride in all their accomplishments. She also spent much of her days with her faithful sheltie Jake, who is already missing her deeply.

With respect to Diane’s wishes there will not be a formal service.
