Diana J. (Waugh) Metter

Diana J. Metter, 71, of Litchfield, Ohio entered into the heavenly gates on Monday, June 3, 2024.

Diana was born February 2, 1953 in Gallipolis, Ohio to William and Rosalie (Clary) Waugh. She has resided in Litchfield for many years. 

Diana was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Valley City. She was a member of a Quilting Guild and enjoyed providing Quilts for Valor.

Diana had a great love for her children and grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, John, married

 52 years, children, Shannon (Jason) Thome, Heather (Travis) McCourt; Shane (Dusty) Metter, Kristen Ruiz and Krystal (Branden) Hartshorn. Grandchildren, Trevor (Amber), Tayla, Austin, Mikaila, Reagan, Gabrielle, Tate, David, Elyana, Ranger, Kelsey, Shane Jr., Tatianna, Rosalia, Sophia, Addison, LaRyssa and Carsten, and a brother Donald (Jan) Waugh, and her mother Rosalie Waugh.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH.  Funeral Service will be held Thursday. June 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Valley City 6936 Center Road Valley City.  Burial will follow at Litchfield Township Cemetery, Litchfield, Ohio.
