Deborah J. (De Leur) Stanczyk

Deborah J. Stanczyk, 64, of Valley City, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020.

She was born Sept. 23, 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio to Frederick and Rita (Schultz) Deleur. Deborah grew up in Broadview Hts. then moved to Brunswick for 15 years and has resided in Valley City for 19 years. She was a North Royalton High School graduate and received her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Cleveland State University.

She worked as the head bookkeeper at the Masons in downtown Cleveland for several years and then at Odem in the Cleveland Flats.

Deborah loved decorating and celebrating the Christmas holiday with her family and friends.

For many years, Deborah, her husband and friends enjoyed boating together.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 41 years, Raymond, her mother Rita DeLeur, brothers, Frederick and Jeff DeLeur, nieces, Shannon and Colie DeLeur, uncles, Dick Owen and Jimmy (Inez) DeLeur.

Friends are invited to a visitation from 3:00-4:00 PM, Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City, where face coverings and social distancing ate required.

Burial will follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to charity of donor’s choice.
