Dalton Lee Simon, 33, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on June 27, 2026.

Born on December 22, 1992, in Cleveland, Ohio, Dalton was the son of Jean Simon and Robert Tester (wife Lauren). He is also survived by his fiancé, Linda Steingass, & his stepfather Donald Kaskevic.

Dalton was the proud father of Harmony Simon, Haiden Armstrong-Simon, and Bradley Armstrong-Simon. He is also survived by his siblings: Trebor Simon, Caleb Tester, Dallas Blaha, Sebastian Workman, Casey Tester, April Tester, and Isabella Workman, along with many extended family members and friends.

Dalton enjoyed riding motorcycles and had a personality that naturally drew people in. He rarely met a stranger and could start a conversation with just about anyone. Known for his playful nature and sense of humor, he often found ways to make everyday moments a little less serious.

Visitation for Dalton will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City, Ohio, where Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

His memory will live on through his family, his friends, and all who knew him. He will be remembered, missed, and forever carried in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
