Dale A. Mennell

Dale Allen Mennell, 61, died Thursday, August 25, 2022 from injuries sustained in a pedestrian/road accident.

He was born July 26, 1961 in Lodi, Ohio to the late Willard and Ruth (Terbeek) Mennell. He was a resident of Cleveland and formerly of Chatham Township.  Dale was a 1979 graduate of Cloverleaf High School.

Dale recently retired from Cleveland RTA after 29 years as a bus driver and formerly drove truck for A.I Root Company, Medina, Schneider National Trucking and also a school bus for the Medina County Achievement Center.

Dale enjoyed helping friends and family. He spent many hours mowing grass and trimming on his family farm, visiting flea markets and auctions.

He is survived by his sister Janet (John) Murphey, brothers, Roy Mennell and Jeff (Kathy) Mennell, sisters-in-law, Terry and Bonita Mennell, many nieces and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his brother Gary in 2021.

Following Dale’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.  Memorials are suggested if desired to charity of donor’s choice.
