Conrad F. Haneberg, 79, went to be with Jesus on November 15, 2025, surrounded by his family. He grew up in North Royalton before moving to Litchfield Township in 1960. During his junior year at Buckeye High School, Conrad met Nancy Dyke, the love of his life. The high school sweethearts went on to share 57 years of marriage, during which they enjoyed bus trips, raised four children, and farmed on the side. He instilled in his children both a steady work ethic and the ability to find humor in everyday moments.
Conrad served as the Director of Pharmacy at Medina (Community) General Hospital for 27 years, later finishing his career working with several pharmacies throughout Medina.
Family was the center of Conrad’s life. He was deeply proud of his four children, and his six grandchildren were his greatest joy. He never missed a game, meet, play, or concert, and he loved sharing their accomplishments with anyone who would listen. He especially cherished the whole-family trips to Disney. Conrad also enjoyed planting a garden every year. Using two stakes and a rope, he made sure his rows of 50 -plus tomato plants were perfectly straight.
In 1989, Conrad became a Director for the Medina County Agricultural Society. Over his 36 years of service, he formed a “fair family” that meant so much to him. In January 2025, he was honored with induction into the Ohio Fair Managers’ Hall of Fame.
Conrad is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy; his children, Gretchen (Tom) Naumoff, Lori Berger, Carrie (John) Debevec, and Eric (Hallie) Haneberg; and his beloved grandchildren, Nick, Kenzie, Hanna, Emily, Jacob, and Kelsey. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn and his brother Craig; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred C.“Butch” Haneberg and Mary Ann (Citino) Haneberg.
