Charlene Marie Bramley, age 85, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023.
Charlene was born October 12, 1937 in Lodi, Ohio to the late Wayne and Lucille (nee Niskey) Turner. Charlene grew up in Litchfield, Ohio. She graduated from Litchfield High School and was crowned Homecoming Queen her senior year.
Charlene and her husband, Clarence Donald Bramley, resided in Naples, Florida until 2019. They were married for 40 years on December 4, 2022. Charlene and Don renewed their wedding vows on October 12, 2019 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Valley City, Ohio surrounded by their family. They moved back to Medina in December of 2019 to be closer to their family.
Charlene worked in the Commercial Loan Department at the Old Phoenix National Bank in Medina. She also obtained her Real Estate License and sold real estate for a short period of time.
Charlene enjoyed cruising and traveling abroad with her husband. One of their most memorable trips was to Italy where they visited Rome and Florence. Charlene and Don enjoyed walking on the beach, collecting sea shells, walking on the wharf in San Francisco, and taking the ferry to Sausalito. In 1995, Charlene shared a memorable Cape Cod adventure with her daughter, Kristie.
Charlene took pleasure in reading, cooking, and planning family gatherings to celebrate graduations and holidays at the Greenbrier in West Virginia and the Galaxy Restaurant in Wadsworth, Ohio.
Charlene will be dearly missed by her family. Charlene is survived by her beloved husband, Clarence Donald Bramley, Kristie Bryniarski (late Gary), Kerrie O’Rourke Family, Jeffrey Bramley, Jennifer Hellwig (Ray), and Donnelle Taylor (Ray). Charlene loved her grandchildren Aaron Bramley (Ashley), Kyley Bramley (Fiancé Brad Fort), Abigail Monger (Alek), Colton Bell, Dillon Bell, and Lexi Taylor. She was especially delighted to meet and hold her great - grandson, August Bramley.
Charlene was preceded in death by her brother Greydon Turner, son- in- law Gary Bryniarski, and Sue Bramley, mother of Kyley and Aaron Bramley.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Litchfield Township Cemetery in Litchfield, Ohio. Pastor Jim Watson of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate.
