Carol J. (Hovorka) Illes

Carol J. Illes, 85, formerly of York Township, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 8, 2021.

Carol was born April 20, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Joseph and Emily (nee Pospisil) Hovorka.  She has resided in Medina County since 1978.

She had run the snack bar at Valley Air Golf Course, Hinckley, Ohio years back and retired as a teacher’s aid at Berea Children Home. Carol was an avid reader and loved gardening.

She is survived by a son Mark (Amanda) Illes and a daughter, Kara (Chris) Shee; grandchildren Chris and Rebecca Illes, Andy and Bailey Shee. A sister-in-law, Marilyn Hovorka.

Carol was preceded in death by two sons, Kevin and Tony Illes and a brother Ronald Hovorka.

Following Carol’s wishes, there will no visitation and cremation has taken place.

A private family graveside service will be held at York Township Cemetery, Mallet Creek, Ohio.
