Carla J. (Kreon) Yatsko

Carla J. Yatsko, 74, of Medina, Ohio entered her heavenly home on Sunday, April 24, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Carla was born on July 17, 1947 in Hartford, CT. She was raised by her Aunt Mary and Grandma in Pennsylvania, lived in Cleveland for many years prior to moving to Medina County in 1988.

 Carla was a devoted member of St. Martin of Tours, Valley City, and she enjoyed gardening and selling blackberries at her roadside stand.

Carla dearly loved her cats who were treated like members of the family.

She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 55 ½ years, Joseph, dear mother of Joseph (Shane) of Pennsylvania, Shawn Yatsko of Valley City, Dion Yatsko of Parma and Angela (Matt) Fortney of Valley City.  Grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 2.  She is also survived by two brothers- Larry (Theresa) Kreon and Bryan Kreon, both of CT.

Preceded in death by Aunt Mary Kreon and a brother David Kreon.

Calling hours will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH.

Funeral Mass will be 9:30 AM, Friday, April 29, 2022 at St. Martin of Tours Chapel, 1800 Station Road Valley City, OH (Please meet at church).

Burial will be held at Acklin Cemetery, Brownsville, PA

In Lieu of Flowers- The family suggests memorials may be made to Haven of Rest, Akron, Ohio or to any animal shelters.
