Brian R. Brown

Brian R. Brown, 73, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

Brian was born May 24, 1949 in Neenah, Wisconsin to the late Relis and Kathryn (Wright) Brown. He grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and attended Florida State University.  Brian lived in Cranbury, New Jersey prior to settling in Ohio in 1974. He was a retired freight broker with Associated Freight.

Brian was an avid Florida State sport fan, enjoyed music especially bluegrass, served as a DJ for many weddings.  He dearly loved his animals.

It was noted that Brian had a great love for trains. Traveling to see and watch trains far and wide.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Phyllis Ramser, children, Brandon Brown, Briana (Michael) Pizzuti, Jennifer (Mike) Martin and Carrie (Joe) Arbogast; Grandchildren, Giana Pizzuti, Carter and Reagan Peterson, Jim Martin, Isabella and Frank Arbogast and a brother M. Geoffrey Brown.

Following Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 4, 2023 in Zion Lutheran Church Gathering Area, 2233 Abbeyville Road Valley City, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad  P.O. Box,  Peninsula, Ohio  44264 or to the Medina County SPCA.

The Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City has the honor of serving Brian’s family.
