Betty Jane Wolff, 92, formerly of York Township passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020.
Betty was born February 2, 1928 in Luckey, Ohio to the late Paul and Martha (Miller) Hasel. Betty was a Liverpool High School graduate.
Betty married her husband Warren Wolff in 1948 and started her life as a farmer’s wife and became the mother of three children.
She had been a longtime member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, in Valley City and a member of the former Ohio Grange.
Betty was noted for her phenomenal cooking and baking and the hospitality she enjoyed sharing with others.
She is survived by her children, Maurice (Elaine) Wolff, Lowell Wolff (Susan Brown) and Jane Hefty. Grandchildren, Jessica (Nick) Pak, LeighAnn (Chris) Garver, Justin (Kara) Wolff, Anna Wolff, Scott and Bradley Hefty. Great grandchildren, Layne, Lillian, Brody, Wesley and Evelynn. A brother- Franklin Hasel and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers, Winston and Marvin Hasel and a sister, Charla May Fackler.
There will NO visitation and a private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 6656 Center Road Valley City, OH 44280.
