Betty Jane (Mann) Dessoffy Ferritto

Betty J. (Dessoffy) Ferritto, 87, of Medina, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020.

Betty was born February 17, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Paul and Mabel (nee Eckerman) Mann. She moved to Valley City in 1971 where she raised her family and later moved to Medina.

Betty had worked as a bank teller with National City Bank for many years.  She was a member of the Red Hat’s Club. She enjoyed traveling and hiking with the Cleveland Hiking Club.    Betty had a wonderful doll collection.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Susan (David) McConnell, William Dessoffy, Veronica (Stephen) Vozary and former daughter-in-law, Lisa Dessoffy. Grandchildren,

Jennifer, Jessica, Phillip, Lauren, Jonathon and many great grandchildren. A brother Charles Mann and a sister Sandy Bellomy.

Preceded in death by her first husband, William Dessoffy and second husband, William Ferritto.

Following Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

 The Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City has the honor of serving Betty’s family.
