Barbara R. (Kehler) Schwartz

Barbara R. Schwartz, 85, formerly of Elyria, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

Barbara was born on October 9, 1934 in Helfenstein, PA. She has resided in Lorain County since 1948.

Barbara was a 50+ member of the First United Methodist Church in Elyria.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Joe) Rodachy of Elyria, Dale (Jeanne) Schwartz of Lorain, Pam “Petie” (Skeet) Allison of Huron, David (Collette) Schwartz of Painesville and Foster daughter, Gina Alexander. She has many grand and great grandchildren. Two brothers, Michael and Phillip Kehler, both of PA.

Preceded in death by her husband, Homer Schwartz, 2011; her father James Kehler, her mother and step father, Sarah and Elvin Weikel and a brother James Kehler.

Following Barbara’s request, cremation has taken place and a Private family burial will be held in PA.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at O’Neill Health Care of North Ridgeville for their compassion and care given to their mother.
