Audrey Agnes (Walkden) Frase

Audrey Agnes (Walkden) Frase, 86, formerly of Litchfield passed away January 25, 2020 at the Laurels of New London. Audrey was born in Elyria on December 31, 1933 to the late Chauncey and Charlotte (Maringer) Walkden.

Audrey grew up in Spencer where she graduated from Spencer High School in 1951.  Upon graduation, she began working at the The Ohio Farmers Insurance Company (Westfield Companies) and continued there for 35 years. On September 20, 1958, she married Virgil D. Frase at the First Lutheran Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Together, they owned the Frase Farm.

Surviving are daughters, Cindy Bennett of Nova and Cathy (Richard) Rice II of New London;

Grandchildren, Robert Bennett, Jr., Emily (Charles) Bauer, Amy Rice, and Richard John (Carly) Rice III; 7 great grandchildren, 7 nieces and 7 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; parents, Chauncey and Charlotte Walkden; brother, Clarence Walkden; sisters, Eadred Reisinger and Ardith Coe.

Calling hours will be Monday, January 27, 2020 from 4:00 -8:00 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home

2089 Columbia Road Valley City, Ohio and 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Church Tuesday prior to the service.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2233 Abbeyville Road, Valley City, Ohio with Reverend James Watson officiating.  Burial will be in the Zion Evangelical Cemetery, Valley City.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Organ Fund.
