Wilma M. Foecking

Wilma M. Foecking, 86, of Valley City, Ohio entered her heavenly home on Thursday, December 20, 2018 following a short illness. Wilma was born in Hanau Germany on October 31, 1932. She moved to the United States June 1953 and married her husband Clyde Foecking in August of 1953. She was a faithful member of St. Martin of Tours, Valley City and Wilma worked as cook with the Buckeye Local Schools for 33 years. Her family and especially her grand and great grandchildren were the love of her life, She enjoyed going on cruises and playing bingo. Wilma will be missed by her children- Betty (John) McWilliam, Jim (Donna) Foecking, Kathy (Peter) DiGravio and Debbie Shea. Grandchildren- Angela (Ryan) Clark, Vanessa (Danny) Rutherford, Scott, Jimmy (Caitie) and Kevin (Krista) Foecking, Peter (Casey) and Brittney DiGravio, Ryan Shea and 14 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband- Clyde, May 4, 2013 and a grandson- Jonny Shea. Funeral Mass- 10:00 a.m., Friday. December 28, 2018 at St. Martin of Tours Chapel, 1800 Station Road Valley City. Rev. Dan Reed, officiating. Calling hours- Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH Burial- St. Martin Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers- The family suggests memorials to the charity of donor's choice.
