Robert "Bob" S. Clymer

Robert (Bob) Clymer, 65, of Medina, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 9, 2019.  Bob was born August 24, 1954.

Bob enjoyed working at Windfall Industries, M.A.P.S, and AI Root where he was proud of his daily achievements.  Bob participated in the Special Olympics bringing home many treasured medals and ribbons in swimming and bowling.

Spending time with family was very important to Bob as were his many friends. He loved music (especially polkas). Bob played the accordion and keyboard by ear. Bob was content writing in his room or vacationing on a cruise ship. He was happy hunting with his brother, going to casinos, or walking in the park.

Bob freely shared the most genuine, pure love a heart could hold. He was friendly and caring to all, never too busy to ask how you were doing and share the gift of his smile. Bob achieved a doctorate in being thankful. Bob knew the importance of time, though he couldn’t read a clock.

Bob will be greatly missed by his loving Mom, MaryJane McKenzie, brother, Gary (Cheryl) Clymer, his sister, Karen (Kevin) Holler, his sister, Linda (Larry) Sadzewicz, his sister, Karen (Tony) Wells, special friend Brock.  He loved and will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew.

Bob always remembered and missed those whom preceded him in death, his father Russell McKenzie, his grandparents, Gus and Kay Germana, his Uncles and Aunts.  Let Heaven and Nature Sing! There’s a polka party in Heaven!

Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at St. Martin of Tours Chapel, 1800 Station Road, Valley City.

Burial will follow service in St. Martin Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or a charity of donor’s choice.
