Robert A. McPeek

Robert A. McPeek, 58, of Valley City passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Robert was born on May 20, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio to Robert E. and Barbara (nee Schmidt) McPeek. He has resided in Medina County for many years. Robert was a graduate of Buckeye High School and has worked as a quality control technician at A. Raymond Tinnerman, Brunswick for many years. Robert was an outdoorsman who enjoyed sky diving, and rock climbing with a close friend, fishing, camping and working in his yard. He enjoyed listening to music, woodworking, sketching and was a gifted photographer. He will be greatly missed by his wife Deborah, married 32 years and daughter, Jennifer McPeek (James Boyce) of Medina. Grandchildren- Brentley and Madison. His mother Barbara McPeek, of Homerville, sisters Cheryl (David) Holomuzki, of Homerville, Chandra (Rich) Bomboris of Ashland. Mother-in-law Juanita Phillips and Sister-in-law Ruth Smith, both of Wooster. Brothers-in-law David Smith of Wooster and Mark August of TX. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his father Robert E. McPeek. Calling hours- 2:00-4:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, where services will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 23, 2019, with burial to follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City, OH.
