Paul V. Anderson

Paul V. Anderson, 94 of Columbia Station, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018. Paul was born June 6, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Harold and Gladys (nee Herron) Anderson. Paul was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II from 1943 to 1945 as a Ball Turret Gunner. Paul owned and operated Paul's Auto Body Shop in Cleveland for 25 years and later taught the auto body trade in the Cleveland School System for 17 years. He was an avid photographer who developed his work in his own dark room. Paul and his late wife Eva enjoyed traveling the Unites States and only missed two states Hawaii and Alaska. Paul loved caring for his daughter's horses and dogs and tending to the yardwork. He will be greatly missed by his children- Paula Violante, of California, Mike Anderson, of Brunswick and Debbie Hronek of Columbia Station. Grandchildren- Amy Hronek, David and Diana Violante all of California. Sister-in-law: Wilma Getman of Wadsworth and Brothers-in-laws: Bill Grasmehr of Columbia Station, Jim & Doris Grasmehr of AZ and Tom & Nancy Grasmehr of CA. Numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Eva Anderson in 2008. Brother- Robert (Bud) Anderson and sisters- Elizabeth Caudill and Nancy Bursa. In Respect of Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. The Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City has the honor of serving the Anderson family.
