Mary Midkiff-Winters Obituary
Mary L. (Midkiff) Winters, 82, of Lorain passed away Friday, November 15, 2019.
Mary was born November 22, 1936 in Huntington, W.VA to the late Mike and Sophia (nee Kurtz) Winters. She had lived in Litchfield for 25 years prior to moving to Lorain in 2005.
She had worked at A I Root Company, K-Mart and retired from Wolff Bros. Supply all in Medina. Mary was an avid card player and was gifted in painting specialized in still life portraits.
Mary had loved all animals, especially kitties.
She will be missed by her children, Christopher (Christine) Midkiff and Paul Midkiff (Karen Burke), grandchildren, Benjamin and Bradley Midkiff.
Preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Javins, Ann Seamonds, Mike, Steve, Nicholas, Sophie, Frank and John Winters.
At Mary’s request, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made in Mary’s name to Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035.
