Evelyn L. Stang

Evelyn L. Stang, 103, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

Evelyn was born January 12, 1916 in Royersford, PA. She had lived in Attica, Ohio moved to Cleveland and had resided in Lorain County for many years prior to moving to Medina to live with her son. She was a 1934 graduate of North Ridgeville High School. Evelyn had worked as a bookkeeper.
Evelyn was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.  The Life Care Center of Medina helped her celebrate her 102th birthday with a full Cleveland Indians theme.  She loved all animals, especially kitties.

Evelyn is survived by her son John (Kathleen) Gibbons and nephew, Jimmy Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Gibbons, one brother and two sisters.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM, Monday, October 21, 2019 at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at St. Martin of Tours Chapel 1800 Station Road Valley City. (Family and friends please meet at the church)

Private Family Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Elyria, OH.
