Edgar Henderson Obituary

Edgar Allen Henderson, 87, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2018. Edgar was born on January 11, 1931 in Ronco, PA and he has resided in York Township for over 30 years. Edgar served in the U.S. Army Special Forces "Green Berets" for 22 years. While overseas in Germany, he met his beloved wife "Lottie" and they have been married 51 years. After retirement from the service, he drove truck for North American Van Lines for many years. He will be greatly missed by his wife Hedwig "Lottie", and his beloved kitty, Piglet. He is also survived by 2 brothers- Russell and Timmy Henderson and a sister- Patricia Henderson. Edgar was preceded in death by a brother, Fred and a sister Jenny. At Edgar's request, cremation has taken place. The burial of the cremains will be held at York Township Cemetery, Mallet Creek at a later date. The Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City has the honor of serving the Henderson Family.
