Bobby Gene Carter, 73, of Medina passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2019. Bobby was born on August 15, 1945 in Greeneville, TN to the late Wilson and Vina Mae (nee Starnes) Carter and moved to Medina County when he was 5 years old. Bobby had served 3 years in the United States Army. He had worked 20 years as a production supervisor for Valspar, Medina. Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna (nee Wagner), children- Brian Carter, Brian Walter, Shawn Carter, Jeff Walter, Christine Geringer and Maygon Carter. Grandfather of 11. Brother of Lanny Carter and the late Stanley and Jeffrey Carter. Visitation- 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City, where funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, July 26, 2019, with Full Military Honors. Following Bobby's wishes, cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers- Memorials may be made to the family to help defray expenses.
