Our sweet angel, Ashley Dawn Sturgill went to join her grandma in Heaven on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Ashley was a very special, very beautiful girl, with eyes that would melt your heart and a smile that would light of the night! She was born August 25, 1994 and she was joyously loved every minute of every day of her way-too-short time her with us. She didn't talk, but she could tell you a million words with her eyes! She loved Arthur and Elmo and Barney and a verse of "Do your eyes hang low" would always bring a smile to her face. She loved going to concerts with her family and friends and would make googly eyes at the lead singer, often causing them to visit her during the break. She loved to eat, loved filling her big, moose belly and that little girl could put it away! Big Time! She was sooo loved by her doting father, Trent, her best-ever mother, Lori and her little, big, bestest brother, Nick! As well as by every member of her extended family and friends. She was loved by everyone who knew he; because as soon as you met her; you had no choice but to love her! Our hearts are broken and we will miss her more than words can ever describe! She will forever be in our thoughts and in our hearts! Ashley was preceded in passing by her incredible grandmother, Florine Whitehead and never got to know her grandfather Carroll Sturgill, who passed before her birth. She is survived by her caring grandpa, Bob Whitehead and her loving grandma, Ruby Sturgill; as well as her parents; brother and a slew of aunts, uncles, cousins, caregivers and so, so many more, all of whom will miss our Angel and whose lives were so blessed to have known her. We love her, we miss her and she'll always be with us! Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH, where the funeral service will be at 2:00 PM There will be a gathering after the interment at the Litchfield Assembly of God Church, 9082 Norwalk Road Litchfield. We will also be having a celebration of Ashley's too-brief yet wonderful, joy-giving life in the near future, which we will soon post. Any donations should be made to Rettsyndrome.org in Ashley's name. She was an organ donor, so our little girl will continue to provide joy and life to others! Ashely, we all love you! So very, very much!
