Nancy Lee (Knapp) Jackson

Nancy Lee Jackson, 86, of Valley City, Ohio passed onto her heavenly home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

Nancy was born February 9, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late H. Spencer and Maude (Nahuis) Knapp.  She grew up in Rocky River, Ohio and lived in Bay Village, Ohio prior to moving to Valley City in 1987. She had been a librarian at Bassett Elementary, Westlake for many years.   Nancy was an active member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Valley City.

She loved manicuring her yard and flower beds. Nancy was an avid reader and enjoying traveling with her husband.

She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 63 years, Alan, devoted daughters, Janet (Tom) Martineau and Pamela Butas.  Special grandchildren, Spencer (Alyssa) Martineau, Brieanna Martineau, Philippe Martineau, Henri Martineau, Devyn Martineau, Tiffany (Russell) Varga, Morgan Butas and Mackinnley Butas. Adored great grandchildren, Keegan, Ainsley, Hadley, Zolie and one on the way.

She is also survived by her sisters, Caryl Eckhart and Susan Rust.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City

Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 6656 Center Road Valley City, OH with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Burial will follow at Lakewood Cemetery, Rocky River, Ohio
