Rita M Weinbroer McCallister

Rita M. Weinbroer McCallister, age 86, of Grafton, OH passed away Sunday, April 26, 2009 in Medina, Ohio.

She was born October 10, 1922, in Grafton, Ohio to Albert and Ella Weigel. Rita resided in Valley City for over 50 years and lived in Grafton for the past 32 years. She and her late husband Don enjoyed spending their winters in Fla. for many years. Rita was a Belden High School graduate. She had been a receptionist for the Medina County Sheriff Dept. many years back. Rita was a member of St. Martin of Tours, Valley City, OH. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, quilting, needlework and making rungs.

She is survived by her children- Gary (Mary Chris) Weinbroer, of Brook Park, OH; Diane (Jay) Bateman, of Pembroke Pines, FL; Dean (Carroll) Weinbroer and Denise (Daniel) Harrison, both of Valley City,OH; Debbie Weinbroer Ellis, of Shelbyville, KY; Dona (Ted) Wolff, of Spencer, OH and Tina Weinbroer, of South Amherst, OH. Grandchildren- Nicole (Chris) Anderson, Ben Weinbroer, Eric and Adam Harrison, Katie (Jeremy) Jackson, Corey, Hallie and Ethan Wolff.

Brother- Lawrence Weigel, of Grafton, OH and a sister- Marge Kline, of Elyria, OH

Preceded in death by her parents; her first husband- Henry Weinbroer, Oct. 19, 1964 and her second husband- Donald McCallister, April 9, 2008.

Funeral Mass- Weds. 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours 1800 Station Road Valley City, OH Rev. Thomas Dunphy, officiating.

Burial- St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, Valley City, OH

Calling hours- Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH.

Memorials suggested if desired may be made to St. Martin Church Building Fund.
