Elizabeth H. Timar, age 94, of Valley City, OH went to her heavenly home on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Inn of Medina.
Born- July 27, 1914 in Cleveland, Ohio. She had resided in North Royalton for many years prior to moving to Valley City, OH. Elizabeth and her husband had raised several foster children along with their own. She was a former member of the Parma VFW Auxiliary and had been an organist for the Holy Family Catholic Church, Parma. Elizabeth enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Survived by her daughter- Jean (Thomas) Hazek, of Valley City, OH and Mary Beth (Robert) Gombos, of CO and a son William (Eleanor) Timar, of Homerville, OH. 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
Preceded in death by her husband- William and a sister- Ann Murar.
The family wishes to “thank” the Inn of Medina and Hospice of Medina County for all their kind help and support.
At Elizabeth’s request, cremation has taken place. Private Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, OH
Memorial Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009 at St. Martin of Tours, 1800 Station Road Valley City, OH Rev. Thomas Dunphy, officiating.
In lieu of flowers- memorials are suggested to St. Martin of Tours.
