Raymond E. Higham, Sr., age 84, of Medina, Ohio passed away Weds. April 8, 2009 in Medina, OH.

He was born July 22, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio to Edwin and Nevah Higham. Ray has resided in Medina County for many years and spent many winters in FL. He was a World War II Army veteran and had been a supervisor for General Motors, Hudson, OH. Ray was an avid golfer and bowler.

Survived by his wife- Leola married 61 years, Daughters- Leanne Treadway, of Canton, OH; Dianne (John) Maringer, of Berea, OH; Karen Berger Ladan, of Port Orange, FL and Gina Joyce, of Medina, OH. Sons- Ray Jr. of Orlando, FL; David (Kathie) of Daytona Beach, FL and Daniel of Medina, OH. 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Brother- Bruce Higham, of Valdosta, GA many nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by his parents, a daughter- Laura Smith; sister- Betty Steingass and a brother- Adelbert Feight.

Funeral Service: Sat. 3:00 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH Rev. Gene Kraus, officiating.

Calling hours- Sat. 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
