Harold E. Moehle, 80, of Valley City, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010.
He was born January 15, 1930, Valley City, Ohio to the late Ervin and Ella Moehle. Harold has been a lifelong resident of Valley City. He was a Liverpool High School graduate and had worked at the former BHL Elevator in Valley City. Harold was a bricklayer by trade and a 40 year member of Bricklayer’s Local Union 5. Harold served as Sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1951—1953. He was a member of the Medina Eagles and was an active member of the Buckeye Athletic and Band Boosters when his children were in school. Harold served on the Buckeye Football Chain Gang for 40 years. He loved the outdoors, farming his land, fishing, gardening and bow hunting. Harold enjoyed going to farm auctions and purchasing farm equipment to refurbish. He loved to be with his family and hosted many family reunions at his home.
Survived by his wife- Shirley, married Jan. 27, 1951; children- Debbie (Larry) Gillin, Valley City, OH; Bev Asad, of Valley City, OH, Val (Brien) Kilkenny, of Seville, OH and Keith (Eileen) Moehle, of Valley City, OH. Grandchildren - David Gillin (fiancé Andrea Demczyk), Heather Gillin (fiancé Rob Nupp), Shelley (Mark) Unocic, Ken (Kerri) Asad, Brendan, Erin, Caitlyn & Shannon Kilkenny; Jeannine (Michael) Letner, Stephanie, Daniel and Patricia Moehle. Great grandchildren – Taylor & Madison Gillin, Travis and Austin Unocic, Alexis and Jordan Letner.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City OH Rev. Doug Gunkelman, officiating.
Burial- Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH
Calling hours- Weds. 2-4 and 6-8 pm. At the funeral home.
