Russell E. McKenzie, age 86, of Valley City, OH went to his heavenly home on Friday, March 5, 2010.

He was born December 22, 1923 in Elyria, Ohio to Charles and Caroline McKenzie. Russell has resided in Medina County for the past 33 years. He is a member of St. Martin of Tours Church, Valley City and retired from General Motors Fisher Body Plant, Elyria after 21 years as a mechanic. He was an avid bowler, who enjoyed traveling, camping, woodworking and most of all his family.

Survived by his wife- Mary Jane, married 33 years. Children- Karen (Tony) Wells, of Lodi, OH; Linda (Larry) Sadzewicz, of West Salem, OH; Karen (Kevin) Holler, York Twp.; Bob Clymer, of Valley City, OH and Gary (Cheryl) Clymer, of Litchfield, OH Grandfather of Shelly (Chris); Kevin (Courtnay); Kyle (Amanda); Kory; Kaylee; David; Isaac; Freddy; Kenny; & Robby. Great grandfather of Cameron, Braeden and Dylan

Preceded in death by his parents, first wife- Susan and a sister.

Funeral Mass: Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours 1800 Station Road Valley City, OH Rev. Thomas Dunphy, officiating.

Burial- St. Martin Church Cemetery, Valley City, OH

Calling hours- Monday, 4-8 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH
