Eugene G. "Tim" Welch

November 22, 1923 - February 17, 2010

Eugene G. “Tim” Welch, age 86, of Medina, Ohio passed away Weds. February 17, 2010 at the Medina Villages.

He was born November 22, 1923 in Rockford, IL to the late Eugene and Ellen Welch. Mr. Welch grew up in Detroit, MI living there till 1961 when he moved to Parma, OH until 1972. He than moved to New Jersey where he lived for 36 years prior to moving back to Medina in May 2009. Mr. Welch retired after 37 years of service to the Kraft Foods Company, where he had traveled the United States. Mr. Welch was a World War II Navy veteran. He was an avid reader, enjoyed bowling and visiting the casinos.

Survived by his wife- Gladys married Aug. 9, 1947. Children- Kathleen (Arthur) Shupe, of Litchfield, OH: Lynne Welch, of Litchfield, OH and Donald Welch, of Cherry Hill, NJ Grandfather of David Shupe, Brian (Jamie) Shupe, Darryl (Danielle) Shupe and Timothy Welch. Great Grandfather of Julia, Nicole, Tyler, Anthony, Abigail, Sidney, Mallory & Eli. Great great grandfather of Brayden. Many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his son- Eugene Welch, Jr. in January 24, 2010. Sister- Lorraine (George) Donaldson

Funeral Service- Sunday, 2:00 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH Rev. Dennis Murawski, officiating.

Calling hours- Sunday 1:00 P.M. till 2:00 P.M. at funeral home.

Burial: Crow Road Cemetery, Litchfield, OH.
