Mary Lee Domann, age 62, with to her heavenly home on Monday, December 7, 2009.

She was born May 13, 1947 in Cleveland, OH to Anton and Wuanita Simcic. Mary Lee grew up in Cleveland and graduated from Ohio University, Magna Cum Laude. She had lived in Valley City from 1976 to 1993 when she moved to Kentucky. Recently, in 2007 Mary Lee returned to Medina County. She was a homemaker and a retired school teacher having worked for Our Lady of Rosary Home Schooling, Kentucky. Mary Lee was a very devoted to her faith. She had assisted in forming the Eucharistic Devotion Chapels at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, in Strongsville, OH and St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven, KY. Mary Lee was a member of St. Martin of Tours, Valley City, OH. She was an active member of the Legion of Mary and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Praesidium, both at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, in Brunswick, OH. Mary Lee enjoyed volunteering for Hospice of Southwest General Hospital.

Survived by her children- Nathan (Alissa) Domann, of Brunswick, OH and Teresa Ruhl, of Parma Hts., OH stepmother- Dorothy Simcic, of North Royalton. OH grandchildren- Cordelia and Zander Ruhl; Grant Domann. Sister- Julie (Phil) Everett, of North Royalton, OH and brother- Anthony Simcic, of Missouri. Aunt and friend too many

Preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Mass- 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at St. Martin of Tours 1800 Station Road Valley City, OH Rev. Thomas Dunphy, officiating.

Calling hours- Weds. 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH

Burial- St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, Valley City, OH
