Richard E. Stoskopf, age 63, formerly of Valley City, OH went to his heavenly home, Tuesday, November 3, 2009.

He was born on Berea, OH on June 5, 1946 to Elno and Edith Stoskopf. Richard had resided in Valley City for most of his life moving to Medina 1998. He was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Valley City and attended Reimer Road Baptist Church when he moved to Medina. Richard enjoyed walking and visiting with friends.

Survived by his sister- Lois (Leo) Gorfido, of Pompano Beach, FL; Nieces and nephews- Marcie Gorfido, of Medina, OH; Tim (Kathy) Gorfido, of Strongsville, OH and Dan (Rickie) Gorfido, of Victoria, TX. Great nieces and nephews- Nathan, Zachary, Nicholas, Chelsea, Tyler, Trevor, Caitlyn, Devin, Colton and Brett. 5 great great nieces and nephews. Uncle- Ellis Armstrong, of Medina, OH Many cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers- David; uncles and aunts.

Funeral Service- Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH Pastor Jim Newton, officiating.

Burial: Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City, OH

Calling hours- one hour prior to funeral service Saturday (Noon-1:00 p.m.)
