Shirley M. Pembridge

November 29, 1925 - August 9, 2009

Shirley M. Pembridge, age 83, of Brunswick, OH went to her heavenly home of Sunday, August 9, 2009.

She was born in Endicott, NY on November 29, 1925 to Grover and Ina Rivenburg. Shirley has resided in Medina County since 1952. She was a former member of 1st Baptist of Brunswick and presently a member of First Baptist of Valley City. She has served an organist, Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir over the years. Shirley was a homemaker and was known for her great baking and cooking. She loved to work in her flower garden and to do needle work.

Survived by her husband- Walter (Jim), married 66 years. Sons- Robert (Kathy) of Spencer, OH; Paul (Darlene) of, MO and daughter-in-law: Linda Pembridge, of TN Grandmother of 8 and Great grandmother of 16. Sister- Pauline McCave, FL

Preceded in death by her parents, sons- Richard and Daniel Brothers- Walter, Ernest, Grant and Jack Rivenburg, sister- Geraldine Townsand.

Funeral service-Weds. 2:00 P.M. at Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH Rev. Richard A. Steele and Rev. Bill Moore, co-officiating.

Burial: Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, OH

Visitation- Tuesday, 6-8 p.m at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the funeral on Weds.
