Edward William Schmock

April 6, 1935 - July 29, 2009

Edward William Schmock, age74, of Medina, Ohio died on Weds. July 29, 2009 at his home after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born April 6, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio to Edward J. and Margaret S. (nee Webb) Schmock. Edward retired from BP after 43 years of dedicated service. He was a devoted husband and father Edward thoroughly enjoyed reading and all aspects of World War II.

Mourning his loss is his wife- Nancy (nee Ringgenberg) married 51 years. Children- Michael J. (Cheryl) and Edward S. Grandchildren- Jason (Wendy) Schmock; Angel Schmock; E. Joseph and Travis Schmock Great grandchildren- Cassidy, Skyla and Caylee Schmock.

Preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-laws: Deborah and Joanna; brother-in-law: Lynn Ringgenberg; sister- Marjorie Alvarado and brother- Richard Carl Schmock.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, 8/1/09 St. Francis Xavier Church 606 E. Washington St. Medina, OH Rev. Anthony Sejba, officiating. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH DAY OF FUNERAL)

Calling hours- Friday, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH

Luncheon and Fellowship will follow immediately after the Mass. All are invited. Luncheon to be held in the Xavier Room adjacent to the church.
