Sally Lynn Burress Morrow, age 65, of Brunswick, OH left this earth suddenly Sunday morning, July 19, 2009, after a celebration on Saturday night with family and close friends. She went away quietly and peacefully in her sleep. It is how she wanted it. Sally grew up on Cleveland’s near west die moving to Medina County in 1975. She worked in many local establishments and finally for the Brunswick City Schools. Sally loved her family and friends. She gave her time and was generous to a fault. Sally was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary Valley City VFW Post# 5563 and was involved with Medina County Share a Christmas.
She leaves behind her children- Jeanene (John) Riffle, Russell Morrow and Jill Morrow. Her grandchildren- Sarah Riffle, Heather (Andrew) Salim, Matthew Riffle and Samantha Lynn Morrow. Her great-grandchildren (Yes, she was a great grandmother) Soren, Skyler and Nathan Riffle, Alice and Andrew Salim, Jr.
Her brother- Geoffrey (Joan) Burress nieces and nephews, friends and acquaintances.
We celebrate her life and take comfort in the knowledge that she is in heaven with her parents, Helen (Tootie) and Russell (Lefty) Burress and her dear brother- Bruce. Her beloved white Shepard Bianco and a lot of cats. There is no more pain only joy. There is a new star in the sky for us to wish upon.
Visitation- Weds. 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH with a celebration of life service at the close of visitation.
In lieu of flowers- the family requests that you plant a perennial in her honor.
