Gerard Piovarchy, age 48, of Elyria, Ohio went to his heavenly home on Friday, July 10, 2009.
He was born in Medina, Ohio on March 12, 1961 to Charles and LaVerne Piovarchy. Gerard grew up in Valley City, Ohio and moved to Elyria in 1987. He graduated in 1979 from Buckeye High School, where he was a star heavy weight wrestler going to state competition several times. Gerard attended St. Jude Catholic Church, Elyria. He enjoyed fishing and swimming.
Survived by his wife- Mary, married 27 years. Brothers and Sisters- Charles (Sue), of Chippewa Lake, OH; Karen (Don) Culler, of Valley City,OH; Chris (Denise) of Valley City, OH; Celeste (Carl) Scheutzow, of Brunswick, OH and Bernadette (Mike) Gross, of Grafton, OH Many nieces and nephews. In-laws: Stanley and Dorothy Zupan, of Middleburg Hts., OH
