Margaret M. Bednarik, age 80, of Strongsville, Ohio went to her eternal home on Weds. July 8, 2009.
She was born Nov. 23, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph and Annette Herbst. Margaret lived in Cuyahoga County for many years, than moved to Valley City for 10 years returning to Strongsville several years ago. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Margaret took great pride in flower gardening.
Survived by her children- John (Sandra) Bednarik, of Sagamore Hills, OH and Susan (Michael) Lapinski, of Valley City, OH. Grandchildren- Karen (Mike); Lisa (Paul); Amy; Tom (Laura) and Patrick (Bonnie) Great grandchildren- Gabriel; Joshua; Talia; Evan; Sarah; Brandon; Ashley and Isabelle.
Sister- Ann Kump, of Berea, OH and Sister-in-law: JoAnn (Jerry) Malak, of Parma, OH
Preceded in death by her husband- John R. Bednarik, 1998; her parents and a granddaughter- Kristi Lapinski; Brother-in-law William Kump.
Funeral Mass: Sat. 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours 1800 Station Road Valley City, OH Rev. Thomas Dunphy, officiating. (Please meet at the church)
Burial: St. Martin Cemetery, Valley City, OH
Calling hours- Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH
